Supergreen's last show is Tuesday at Flanagan's Harp and Fiddle. That's right... LAST SHOW.

And so it goes...

DJ Ruby Rhod: What was that honey? It was BAD! It had no fire, no energy, no nothing! So tomorrow from 5 to 7 will you PLEASE act like you have more than a two word vocabulary. It must be green.

Korben Dallas: Can I talk to you for a second?

[Throws Ruby up against a wall]

Korben Dallas: I didn't come here to play Pumbaa on the radio. So tomorrow from 5 to 7 your gonna give yourself a hand, green?

DJ Ruby Rhod: Supergreen

Hey folks, it's Mark here. Supergreen is finally coming to an end. Tim and I formed the band about five years ago after playing as an acoustic duo called the Naked Puppets. When we convinced Art to learn to play the bass guitar, a band was born. Since then, it has been nursed along through members moving on to different states and different statures. We've seen weddings and divorces, and as my former guitar teacher Dave Berry likes to say, we'll play them both... We'll play weddings and divorces, and if you book us for both up front, we'll give you a discount! We've seen babies born, new careers born, and through it all, Supergreen hasn't lost its place in our hearts.

In the last couple weeks, Grasso has gotten a great new job offer and is moving with Kalyani to Milwaukee (yes, Milwaukee). Congrats Grasso! Additionally and coincidentally, Kev has had a couple health scares that fortunately turned out to be nothing but require him to slow down a bit. So, as a result, we are out not only a phenomenal lead guitar player, but also an amazing keyboard player and the closest thing I have to another founding member. In my mind, Supergreen without Kev is not Supergreen at all. And it feels like we had finally just gotten going...

I (and Supergreen as a whole) would like to thank:

Kevin Barrett - Keyboards/Vocals, 2003-2007

Supergreen would especially like to thank Mark's parents for the practice space (their basement) and the trailer towing vehicle (their Mazda MPV minivan). Tim and I would like to thank Dave Berry for letting us play on his set breaks all those years ago. We would like to thank all the club managers that took the time to listen to our stuff and book us and keep booking us. And of course, we would all like to thank our families and friends for all the love and support for all these years.

And soooooo.... We are playing one last kickass rockin' show this Tuesday at the Harp and Fiddle. We go on at 8:30pm. We hope you will come celebrate with us!

This may not be the last you see of any of us. Kevin, Anthony, and I will keep writing and working on new material and maybe a new band will be formed sometime in the future. For now, I will find all the (respectable) material I can find and put in on the website for free download. Give me a couple weeks to get this done. Also, we hopefully will be recording the show on Tuesday (thanks Zack!) and videotaping it (thanks Dad!) so we can post that material as well.

Thanks again for everything and we'll see you soon.

-Kev, Grasso, Kevin, Anthony, and Mark
